Four Ferry companies offer routes to 11 destinations.

Ferry companies include Hellenic Seaways, Minoan Lines, ANEK Lines and Lane Lines.


Minoan Lines


Minoan Lines operates a daily sailing from Heraklion to Piraeus. The journey takes approximately 9 hours and travels overnight.

The Ikarus Palace sails the route and offers excellent onboard amenities including: luxury cabins, a children's playground, a 24 hour reception desk, excellent bars and restaurants, a shopping arcade, facilities for pets and medical services. It has the capacity of carrying 1500 passengers on board as well as 850 cars.

ANEK Lines


ANEK Lines also runs a daily service from Heraklion to Piraeus. Total journey time is 9 hours. ANEK Lines boasts a fleet of 10 ships all offering excellent facilities including restaurants, bars, games rooms, swimming pools, children's playgrounds, duty-fre shopping and a range of cabins.

Hellenic Seaways


Hellenic Seaways is one of the leading Greek maritime companies. It services many destinations from the port of Heraklion including routes to Mykonos, Ios, Paros and Santorini. Its entire fleet of ships are luxuriously equipped to meet the tastes of all its passengers. Facilities include a choice of restaurants and bars, duty-free shopping, onboard entertainment and children's play areas.

Lane Lines


From the port of Heraklion, Lane Lines offers a route to Rhodes via Sitia, Kasos, Karpathos, Diafani and Chalki. A ferry leaves for Rhodes once a week and takes a total of 13 hours.
The Lane Line Ferries are well equipped with many restaurants, bars, cafés and comfortable seating for its passengers.
